Trent and Ashley's "First Date" that was not a date. We were hanging out as a group of friends.

Ashley came to North Carolina to visit Trent. We became "official."

Trent came home for spring break! We took a fun date day to breweries, the domes and a cooking class. This is the day before the world shut down.

After coming home for spring break, Trent got "stuck" in Wisconsin during Covid. During this time, Ashley and Trent's relationship grew! Trent had to do PT school at home.

Our first "I Love You" was laying on a pier, drinking Barrelhouse wine and looking up at the stars.

The day after we said, "I Love You," we went celebrated with hiking and waterfalls in northern Wisconsin.

After several long months of doing the distance thing, Ashley flew out to North Carolina for a second time. We went to the beach!

And to hike the tallest mountain east of the Mississippi River! Hiking has become one of our favorite things to do.

After several more months of distance, Trent was home for winter break.

But distance was becoming harder, the heart was growing fonder. Ashley moved out to North Carolina.

We got to witness love grow!

And grew our family!

We learned how to travel on a budget.

And to savor sweet success.

We love the life we've built as boyfriend and girlfriend!

But life got so much better on the day we got engaged!

And now we are excited to share our big day with you on 10/4/25!
